Writing testemonies with "Hadasim" High School Students

Another project on the way: writing testemonies with “Hadasim High School“ students & Yad Vashem.
“Hadasim High School“ sees a great importance in writing the testemonies of Holocaust survivors. They have been doing it for the last 2 years.

The pupils – 17 years old come to the survivors’ homes, sit & talk, listen & write down the stories, scan documents & photos, & after a while submit the research. The testemonies will be published on our website – available to everyone in the net.

In between, the pupils become educators: They tell the stories to the lower grade classes, & in the “scouts”.
“Hadasim High School“ won last year the Yad Vashem Educational Award.

This year they will focus on the lodz community & it’s history.
We see a great importance in cooperation with “Hadasim High School“, & we’ll be thankfull to everyone of you accepting the challenge.
